Simple Blueberry Scones

  • Servings: 25-30
  • 2 Cups AP Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 4 oz. Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread
  • 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup Buttermilk

Pre-heat oven to 400 F.

In a bowl sift all dry ingredients together once.

Next add in the Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread, and with a fork, gently cut the mixture until the spread has combined with flour into pea size pieces.

Next gently fold in the blueberries, add in the buttermilk and with a rubber spatula combine the mixture until it comes together.

Spray a sheet tray with non stick spray, and place even scoop of dough onto the tray. Bake 5-7 minutes until lightly browned at 400 F.
