New Orleans BBQ Shrimp

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound large, peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 7 tbsp. Gold-n-Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary or 1/3 tsp dried ground rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions:

Heat a large, heavy-duty skillet over high heat for 1 minute. Add 3 tablespoons Gold-n-Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread, rosemary, black pepper and shrimp. Cook just until the shrimp turn pink on the outside. Shake the skillet vigorously back and forth, with a push/pull motion, while cooking the shrimp.

Add garlic and cook, shaking the skillet constantly, for 25 seconds. Add the Worcestershire and cook until the liquid is almost completely evaporated, about 30 seconds. Add the remaining 4 tablespoons of Gold-n-Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread and reduce heat to low. Shake the skillet vigorously back and forth, with a push/pull motion, or stir with a large spoon, just until the Gold-n-Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread melts into the sauce and combines with the liquid in the pan. Serve in bowls with plenty of good bread for dipping.
