Grilled Steak with Blue Cheese Topping

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 Tbsp. Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread at room temperature
  • 6 Tbsp. blue cheese
  • pinch of salt and pepper
  • 4 12 oz steaks such as t-bone or rib eye
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Place Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread and blue cheese in a small bowl, stir to blend. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Place mixture on a piece of plastic wrap and shape it into a log 1 inch thick. Refrigerate until needed.

Place the steaks on a tray and rub them with the olive oil, evenly sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper.

Preheat grill to medium high heat.

Grill steaks until done to taste, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Transfer grilled steaks to a serving platter and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut the blue cheese topping into 4 thick slices. Top each steak with a round of blue cheese topping and serve.
