Mangoes Flameados with Cocoa Tortilla Crisps (Flambéed Mangoes)

  • 1 #/2 ea. Mango Lg.
  • 1/8 Cup Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread
  • 1/8 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 4 each 6 Inch Flour Tortillas
  • 2 Tbls. Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 oz. Triple Sec Liquor
  • 2 Tbls. Orange Juice
  • 1 Tbls. Granulated Sugar

Pre-Heat Oven 350 F.

Heat a pan on medium heat. Add Gold ’n Soft® Vegetable Oil Spread and Sugar, stir well and cook 5 minutes. Peel, core and slice mangoes 1/2 inch thick, add mangoes.

Cook mangoes briefly, add in triple sec, flambé triple sec. Add Orange Juice.

Next combine Gold ’n Soft, cocoa, cinnamon, and sugar, microwave 20 seconds.

Cut tortillas into triangles and toss in mixture, lay out on baking pan and bake until crisp.

Serves equal potions of mango and tortilla chips.
